Background of Organization
ATMABISWAS is a Non-Government, Non-Profitable, voluntary and development Organization, engaged in various social works, country development sectors and Micro Credit programs in the different parts the country. It established on January 1991, under Department of Social Welfare. It started it operation for supporting the disadvantaged people of the society with the aims of contributing towards efforts for individuals and adjacent area of district Chuadanga. The founding objectives of the organization are to undertake initiatives for supporting the disadvantaged people of the society with the aim of contributing towards efforts for ending pervasive poverty, ecological degradation, gender inequality and injustice at the local and national levels. It works were included charity works for disability rights, women empowerment, hygienic sanitation, safe water and early marriage prevention with the support of group unpaid volunteers. |
