Akramul Haque Biswas, the founder and Executive Director of ATMABISWAS, has devoted his life to creating a world where justice, equality, and environmental harmony are a reality for all. Educated at V.J. Government High School in Chuadanga and holding an MBA from Rajshahi University, he brings both vision and grounded experience to ATMABISWAS. Since its establishment in 1991, founding the organization was no easy task, as it faced numerous challenges during its inception. His determination, along with the support of the right people, has played a major role in building his confidence in leading ATMABISWAS. His leadership experience includes a four-year tenure as chairman of Meherpur Palli Bidyut, reflecting his commitment to community empowerment and sustainable development. Under his guidance, ATMABISWAS works tirelessly for the rights and empowerment of marginalized communities, advocating for renewable energy, disaster resilience, and gender equality. This organization is driven by the belief that every individual deserves dignity and opportunity, building a brighter future where social harmony and ecological balance thrive together.
